Doug Gibson's Across Canada by Story

Please join us at 6PM  for our NOTL Rotary Club's Dinner meeting at Spirit Distillery located at 458 Lakeshore Road where Douglas Gibson, author and  former Publisher and President of McClelland and Stewart will talk very briefly about 13 major Canadian writers whom he personally knew, even if he did not edit the book in question. They will range from Montreal’s Hugh MacLennan all the way through W.O. Mitchell in the West, to Alistair MacLeod in the East, to Ontario’s own Alice Munro. In each case he will talk about one of his favorite books by the author.

His presentation will be accompanied by caricatures by Anthony Jenkins and a burst of music from time to time.
