Fellow Rotarians and Friends of the Monadnock Rotary Club:

Our speaker for the week of March 14, 2016, was Ellen Avery, Executive Director of the Contoocook Valley Transportation Company (CVTC).  CVTC's motto is "Getting you from here to there . . . and back! GET, GIVE or SHARE A RIDE."  Ellen described CVTC's business model is based upon volunteer drivers. CVTC’s Volunteer Drivers provide “no-fee” transportation for people who do not have access to transportation because of age, ability, economic situation or other limiting circumstances. Trip purposes include non-emergency medical & social service appointments, as well as trips to the grocery store and the pharmacy.
