Dr. Lester Krames is a retired psychologist who works as a volunteer with the John Howard Society. He helped create Bridging the Gap which helps families and children of incarcerated people. Dr. Krames will discuss John Howard's "The Welcome Table" - a new approach to improving race relations in the community.
Dr. Krames received his B.A., M.A., and Ph. D degrees from Temple University in Philadelphia. He is Professor Emeritus at the University of Toronto, where he taught and did research in the Department of Psychology for 30 years until his retirement. His research focused on depression, aggression and social behaviours.
