RCHP supports a call to Save Andrology Australia
 
At a recent meeting of RCHP, Margaret Blake told of the planned removal of Federal Government funding for Andrology Australia, a centre for male reproductive health funded by the Australian Government Department of Health and administered by Monash University.
 
Members responded by adding signatures to a petition to Save Androlgy Australia. The Spring issue of the newsletter of the organisation "The Healthy Male" reported overwhelming support from over 6,800 petition signatories and over 1,000 GPs responding to a survey. Encouraged by the level of support, Andrology Australia is continuing efforts to secure funding for the program.
 
We should all, males & females, be mindful of the importance of good male reproductive health. Guys, be sure have regular check ups with your GP. A moments discomfort at check up and corrective action taken if necessary is nothing compared to the later life problems if you do the "male thing" and put your finger over the oil pressure light and ignore the signs.
