Join us for a night of service to Marion Cares. We will prepare sack lunches for kids in the program at the library. The library will store the lunches for us and distribute the next day. We will write personal notes in all the bags.
All Rotarians are welcome and this will qualify you for a make-up.

5:30-6 pm Networking and set up
6-7 pm prepare sack lunches and hear from Marion Cares
We need these items to make our lunches - what will you bring?
Brown paper bags (30)
Napkins (30) (Christa)
Juice Box (30)
Snack (trail mix, granola bar, fruit snacks(Erin) or cookies) (30)
Sandwich (fixing PB&J or Turkey & Cheese) (15 of each)
-Bread (60 slices) (Sarah 2 loaves) (need 1 more)
- Jar of Creamy Peanut Butter (2 small ) (Sarah)
- Jar of Jelly (2 small or 1 large) (Susan)
- Turkey Slices (enough for 15 sandwiches * ask deli quantities)
- Cheese Slices (15 slices)
- Sandwich size Zip lock bags (30) (Kristi)
Chips (30 small bags) (Heather)

Rubber gloves for sandwich makers (10 pairs) (Jacob)
Knife to borrow to make sandwiches with (6) (Christa)

Rotary Note Cards - We are looking for hand written notes on Rotary note cards from you. Please write words that will brighten their day when they open their sack lunch. Something as simple as "have a super day" "you are great - I can tell" "your smile can brighten any day!" You can find quotes online or ask if you need help. (Contact Christa or Jacob for a note card if you don't have one. If you want to fill out a card but can't make it we can collect those as well. Let us know. Christa & Jacob will bring cards to the meeting.) Sharpies (Christa will bring these)
