That would be Dennis Koors, pictured here with our Club's relay race team, who spoke to our Club last Friday about his accomplishments as an Ultramarathon runner, which are truly unbelievable! Dennis who is the son of fellow Club member Ken Koors particpates in Ultramarathon events around the world. He recently competed in the "world's toughest race" where he ran 135 miles through Death Valley and over three mountain ranges in a remarkable time of 40 hours and 13 minutes! When he's not training or running 100+ mile races, Dennis is a Farmers insurance agent and works in his family's insurance business with his Mom and Dad. He also gave us an emotional update of his father's situation who goes into surgery this week. Thoughts are with Dennis, Ken and rest of Koors family in hopes of a successful surgery and speedy recovery for Ken.
