What An Honor!

Great meeting last Friday as we welcomed Past District 5240 Governor, Wade Nomura! Wade spoke of the enduring task that lies ahead for our future District 5240 Governor for the 2016-17 year, our very own Club member Nick Franklin! Wade, speaking on past experience, capsuled the governing year that he had where he traveled not only to other Clubs and Rotary events in our district but also overseas to various countries to spread the good word of Rotary District 5240. Wade also stressed that our Club needs to step up and support Nick in his arduous and challenging year as governor. We are here for you Nick! And thank you so much to Wade for coming all the way down from Carpenteria to be with us! Other honorary notes: Hard working members Nancy Paul and Ben Pace became "Gold" badgers while the California Jazz and Wine Fest committee was also working hard putting on the final touches for what would be a great event!
