Great program last Friday as retired Thousand Oaks police chief, Randy Pentis and current Thousand Oaks police chief, Tim Hagel spoke about their wonderful and impressive non profit organization, Cops Running For Charity. Randy and Tim along with four other fit and capable local policemen (um, not to be mistaken for these two club members in picture) run races all over the world with donations going directly to charities. Over $250,000 have been raised for local organizations including ALS, Make A Wish, Big Brothers/Big Sisters and many more; all the while, the group has participated in races such as the 4,000 steps on the Great Wall of China, Sahara Desert ultra-marathon, New York, Chicago and Malibu marathons.
