Meeting July 7, 2016

President Husam rang the bell and to uphold club tradition the members promptly left the room!

 

Once order was restored and everyone returned to their seats, John Masterson led us in the Flag Salute.

 

Bill Crookston gave our Inspirational Message.

 

Sheikh Bob Pazen gave our joke of the week.

 

Midge Stork announced that our raffle prize was a $50 Trader Joes gift card donated by Jim Emch.

 

Our guest today was Tobias Hilldebrand. President Husam met Tobias at the Push - em Pull - em parade.

 

President Husam said that he was very honored that all the tables were full for his first meeting.

 

John Borneman led us in a song.

 

Announcements:

Our District Conference and Foundation Gala will be October 14-16 at the Hyatt Westlake.

 

Our first board meeting for this year was yesterday and President Husam admitted to being very nervous for both! He's glad it's finally over.

 

Nightmare on the Hill will be returning on October 29th. Jeff Hata will be chairing this event. Jeff Hata explained briefly what Nightmare on the Hill is so the newer members will know what to expect.

 

President Husam would like to have a club social sometime in August. A search is currently on to find a place to host it.

 

President Husam introduced his board for 2016-17.

 

President Husam announced that the BBQ Team is available for private events only.
