Friendship and Community!

When someone asks you "Why Rotary", tell them its all about friendships and community.  Being a member of Rotary is having a room full of friends greet you each week.  Friendship, in fact, was one of the primary reasons Paul Harris started Rotary in 1905.  We create lifelong friendships in our local community, and, as you become more aware and involved in Rotary, you see that you can make friends throughout the District and even the world.  The relationships created in Rotary are with a network of local and international leaders all with the same focus--friendship, peace, understanding, making this world a better place for all of us.

Rotary here in Tehachapi is also a way to help our members get more involved in making our own little corner of the world even better.   Membership and involvement in a Rotary Club makes an individual a better community citizen and more connected with community leaders and the needs of our community.

Next time someone asks about Rotary--be sure to tell them it's about Friendship and Community.  Together we can make a huge difference in how our community grows and prospers.
