Time Flies!

 

This month marks Harley Kunkel’s 25^th anniversary as a Rotarian, so please join me in giving him BIG congratulations for his quarter century of service.  Harley joined the Tehachapi Club not long after it was formed and has been a great contributor to the good works we do in the community and around the world. He is a past club president and has served in many key positions helping to guide the club. To many of our newer members Harley is well known as ‘the guy that works so hard in kitchen’ at our annual Senior Holiday Luncheon. Harley is a general building contractor and has been very busy in his business for the last few years – so much so that, while we often don’t get to see him at Thursday meetings, we do get the joy of his and wife Kay’s company at events and projects on the weekends or evenings.

Harley sets a high standard of membership and longevity for the rest of us to follow. Thanks for the thousands of hours you’ve devoted to Rotary, Harley!
