Our Club turned out in force to help with the Non-Profit Showcase night presented by Rotary in conjunction with the TVPRD on April 14th at the West Park Event Center.  The event showcased 42 area non-profits and gave us all the opportunity to meet and talk with one another and possibly find ways to unite and work together.

The public came out on a cold and windy Tehachapi evening helping to make the event a success.  There were prizes and snacks galore which made the evening festive as well as informative.  It was an eye opener to meet and greet so  many dedicated volunteers from our own community.  Tehachapi can be proud of all the people who give so much of their time and talent to causes they care deeply about.  All of these non-profits reflect what a genuinely wonderful place Tehachapi is to live.

Special thanks go to our very own Linda Carhart who developed the project and saw it all the way through to the finish.  Make A Wish, American Legion & Aux, Healing Horses for Armed Forces, Tomo Kahni, Daughters of the American Revolution, VFW, Rotary/Rotaract/Interact, Kiwanis, Lions Club, Salvation Army, American Red Cross, Family Life Pregnancy Center, Houchin Blood Bank, Links for Life, Tehachapi Cancer Found, Community Clean Sweep, Water District, Mountain Trails Association, Depot Museum, Heritage Museum, Main St, TCT,  T-Pops, Tehachapi Gran Fondo, Tourism, Senior Center, TVR&Ps, Arts Science & Tech Ed Corp, Boy Scouts Troop and Pack 3, Carden School, Gateway Connections, Golden Hills PTO, TV Gem&Mineral Society, Canine Companions, Have a Heart, Marley's Mutts, Omni Equus Research Center, and Kelly's Therapeutic Riders all participated.
