THS Interact got off to a great start this year with a clean up at Mountain Park.

The Interact Club has already been busy  this fall.  Their first project was to help clean up Highline before the Gran Fondo.  The following week they helped Rotary sell water and soda at the finish line of the Gran Fondo.  Following that, they were in Mountain Park the next week with their annual clean up and barbeque.  This past weekend they turned out to help Rotary sell cider and raffle tickets at the Apple Festival.

Coming up, Interact will host Open Mic Night on October 24th.  This is a big fund raiser and helps send two students to RYLA as well as help pay for transportation costs to and from Ojai.  Also in the works is a candy collection for Truck or Treat as well as handing out candy the night of Halloween and participating in a Haunted House downtown.

In November they will help Rotary with the battery exchange,  the Bear Valley Cultural Arts with their  Thanksgiving Holiday Craft Show and later their Pops Concert, and in December they will be there to serve lunches at the Holiday luncheon.  They are a hard working group of really amazing young men and women.  We can be proud of them and all they accomplish for our community.
