March 24th, Rotary hosted "Afternoon Tea in Tehachapi" at Fiddler's Crossing.  The event was a big success and already on the books for next year! Proceeds of the event (Close to $700) were designated, along with a $500 donation from the Rotary Club, for the Salvation Army and their after-school program.  Marget Willer will be on hand at an up-coming meeting to  accept the donation on behalf of the Salvation Army.

Thank you to Linda Carhart, Anne Tegarden, Rhonda Brady, Lisa Ross and Marian Stephens who organized, made chocolate covered strawberries, baked scones, prepared clotted cream, collected tea pots, arranged servings, all the work that goes into a 'simple' afternoon tea. Everyone who attended had a lovely time on a beautiful afternoon in Tehachapi drinking tea and socializing with good friends.
