A Special Presentation

Adam Whittier, alongside his wife and two children, was on-hand at the RYLA presentation and was officially made an Honorary Member of the Rotary Club Of Tehachapi.

May 14th, not only did we hear from the RYLA graduates about their experiences, we were especially proud to recognize Adam Whittier for all that he has done to serve Rotary through his work with the Interact Club at Tehachapi High School. Adam has been the advisor for Interact for the past five years. He has attended RYLA as a counselor several times, presided over Open Mic Nights, cleaned roads, walked in parades, dealt with 60 kids and pizza in his room every week on Tuesday--truly "Service above Self"! His perfect wife--and yes she is--Alejandra, has also been a blessing to Rotary with her donations of her hand made jewelry for our auctions. We are so lucky to have such an amazing couple as a part of our activities and proud to welcome Adam as a Rotarian.
