About Our Club

The Rotary Club of Santa Barbara Sunrise is made up of local business, professional, and civic leaders.  We meet regularly, get to know each other, form friendships, and through that, we’re able to get things done in both our local and global communities.

We are active in local service projects including a free dental clinic that provides critical care to the underserved in our community, we purchase and distribute free dictionaries to all 3rd graders in the Santa Barbara Unified School District, we recognize at-risk youth at La Cuesta Continuation High School with our Student of the Month program, and engage in hands-on improvement projects at Camp Whittier which is owned and operated by the United Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Barbara County.  Internationally, our club supports a children’s orphanage and surgical eye clinics in Mexico in addition to funding clean water projects, medical clinic improvements, and a pharmacy project in two rural communities in Nicaragua.

We meet for the breakfast on the first and third Wednesday mornings at 7:00 a.m. at the historic Santa Barbara Club, located at 1105 Chapala Street, Santa Barbara.  Please join us as our guest and meet our members, get to know our club, and learn why Rotary is an outstanding service organization.

If you have an interest in any of these activities please contact us regarding future participation. For more information, call (805) 884-6428.
