TOP 5 HIGHLIGHTS FROM TODAY’S PROGRAM

1. President Dave called the official annual meeting and Bob Burdette, Jessie Lopez, Mark Pafford, and John Schuler were all elected to the board of Directors.  Congratulation to President –Elect Ray Watson – a dynasty has begun!

2. Bakersfield Condors are sponsoring an 18-day winter fest park at Bakersfield College Memorial stadium from December 21 – January 7^th.  Rink specialists will build the one million dollar ice skate rink on the field over a nine-day period.  This complex effort includes 12,000 lbs. of sand to level the field, 25 miles of underground pipe, 20,000 gallons of diesel, and twelve sleepless nights for the crew! 

3. The park will be open during the days and evenings for families to enjoy public ice-skating; a 220ft. zip line, snowman building area and obstacle courses. Food and beverage vendors will be on site.  The $20 admission includes skate rentals – bring your family out for some winter fun!

4. Local teams will play on the field on Friday and Saturday evenings. On January 6^th come out and see the famous NHL all stars Wayne Gretzsky and Luc Robitaille in an all-star match.  Then on Saturday January 7^th the Condors face off against the Ontario Reign at 6p.m.
