HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE SEPTEMBER 29TH PROGRAM

Jeff Thorn, CEO of Worklogic, hosted the club to a cocktail-hour tour of Worklogic, a full-scope human resources consulting firm. Housed in an ultra-modern and chic office space on California Avenue, Thorn told the club about the company’s mission of having an open, interactive and highly communications-friendly environment and ergonomic work spaces. Offering a full array of human resources services, the company does work for customers across the U.S. , with Kern County comprising about 30% of its business.  Compliance, best practices, shared liability, risk mitigation, training, employee handbooks, policies & procedures, job descriptions, broker of record cline plans, insurance provisions, pre-employment screening and certificates of insurance services are all available at Worklogic.

Scott Belden of Belden, Blaine, Raytis handles the legal side of HR with a focus on “business law for business owners.” Belden and attorneys David Blaine and Katy Raytis head that enterprise. P.K. Zander handles three staffing companies for the group, providing everything from clerical to industrial staffing. Erin Henderson of EMedia is the advertising component with 16 years in the ad business, serving clients from home builders to health care to retail.

Rotary members were treated to a tour of the beautiful facilities which included a large, colorful common area where Worklogic staff are encouraged to gather to interact, build morale and be encouraged in their various tasks.

Worklogic is located at 5016 California Ave #1.
