On Wednesday, August 21, Seattle Rotary will be hosting a very special program featuring Jeff Robinson. The program will take place at Town Hall Seattle and the presentation will begin at 4:00 pm.

Rotary members and one guest per member may attend without registering. General Admission tickets for this event have sold out so no additional guest tickets will be available.  Your Seattle Rotary member badge will serve as your ticket to the event.

The event will begin with the main presentation at 4:00 pm. Doors open at 3:00 pm and we are expecting a full house, so you are encouraged to arrive early to find a seat!

Following the public presentation, a private reception and meet-and-greet with Jeff Robinson will be held in the Forum (lower level of Town Hall) for Seattle Rotary members. Because space is limited, entry will be limited to members and one guest each. The reception will include appetizers and a no-host bar.

About Jeff Robinson

For over three decades, Harvard Law graduate, attorney, and now ACLU Deputy Legal Director Jeffery Robinson has devoted his career to racial justice. In recent years, he has traveled the country speaking hard truths about race in America. “Our history,” he tells audiences, “has been stolen from us.” Weaving heartbreak, humor, passion, and rage, Robinson takes us through this stolen history, showing us how the legacy of slavery and U.S. imperialism impacts every aspect of our society.

In the end, Robinson’s words are a call to action. He does not shame his audience, rather he empowers them to change the future, leaving them with a sense of optimism about what America could look like if we have the courage to change it.
