It is my pleasure to introduce to you Mike Hatzenbeler, President and CEO of PROVAIL, formerly known as United Cerebral Palsy of King-Snohomish counties.  His classification is Human & Community Services.  He was proposed by Heather Fitzpatrick and Seconded by Gene Boes.
Mike is married to Peggy who is trained and certified as a postpartum doula.   Mike and Peggy are natives of Washington having grown up in Vancouver and Tacoma respectively.  They have three children.  Their 26-year-old son works for Slalom Consulting.  Their 20-year-old daughter is attending George Washington University.  And their 17-year-old daughter is attending Nathan Hale where she polevaults for the track team.

Mike’s passion is to work with people who have disabilities.  He wants to be the trusted adviser to those who need support to achieve their fullest potential.  You should visit PROVAIL’s web site.  You will be moved to tears when watching a girl named Faith as she overcomes her disabilities.

Mike loves being a parent to their three children.  He has been involved in their sports and is currently the president of Nathan Hale’s sports boosters. He loves to fish both fresh and salt water.  His last trip to the Columbia River near Kennewick, where he was born, netted him a nice Chinook salmon.  Mike also likes to build things and there is always a project around the house.
