I have the pleasure of introducing to you our newest member, Dan Varghese, classification Technology.  He was proposed by Jaime Mendez and seconded by Alan Kunovsky, both of whom we thank.  Dan is joined here today by his partner, Theia. They have a seven-month-old son Elijah and live in Bellevue.

Dan is an entrepreneur. Raised as a second generation Indian in Florida by a family that was involved in several family businesses, Dan, as the only child, learned about running a business from his early teenage years.  He received his Masters in Management Information Systems from the University of South Florida.  He became involved in a startup staffing firm, which he grew to become the 9th and 10th fastest growing company in Tampa back to back. Towards the end of 2016, he and Theia decided to move to Seattle to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams after falling in love with the city.

Shortly after moving, Dan co-founded a software development company and during its marketing efforts, he fell in love with throwing technology events. He is now positioning himself to conduct summits focused on technology and innovation for good, while passively consulting and providing offshore software development services. His greatest business strengths are creative business strategy, growth hacking, and cultivating talent.

Dan is fluent in Malayalam, a South Indian language, loves to spend time with friends and family, and is a Seattle dodgeball player.

Dan sees Seattle Rotary as a way to inspire people to do things to better society and to better himself.  Please welcome Dan Varghese.
