"So You Want To Talk About Race?"

Now that we've all had some time to reflect on Jeff Robinson's powerful presentation about racism in America, your Peacebuilders Committee invites you to continue our journey exploring race, racism, and how they infect almost every aspect of American life with your fellow Seattle 4 Rotary members. At 11 am before the luncheon on Wed. October 30, we'll be holding a group discussion around Seattle author and activist Ijeoma Oluo's book, "So You Want to Talk About Race?" which delves into subjects ranging from intersectionality to affirmative action to “model minorities.” Together we can have an honest conversation and help each other navigate the questions of race that arise in our daily lives.
