DIRECTORS REPORTS:
- Bell Ringing/Jim Vos & Jamie Wakefield:
Everything went off without a hitch. All volunteers showed up on time and, if needed, made changes in plenty of time if they had conflicts at the last moment.
We had so many sign up due to the email request that went out that some of the long time, older members, had to take a position on the substitute list so new members would be ringing. We made sure the new members were paired with a long time member.
Still have not gotten information of the results of our labors regarding amount collected at each kettle.
- Social Committee/Catherine Riordan: A wine tasting is being arranged-details to be determined; and the 2016 Rotary Cruise date has been set for June 20, 2016.
Del VandeKerk:
Service Fund Committee: The committee will hold the selection meeting on February 8, 2016. The final application date is 1/25/2016

President Chuck announced the results of the recent club assembly, and directed members to the report with feedback on the assembly. The report indicated a strong interest in maintaining a major project goal of $100,000 per year. There was establishing a new fund in addition to the major project to be used for opportunities that arise during the year. There was a mix of interest in continuing the standard check writing campaign vs. special events. There was also a suggestion to clearly communicate the major project selection process and criteria, so that members can assist in generating quality projects.
Cathy Buckley announced that the Rotary Ski Trip to Sun Peaks BC is filling up, but there is still time to reserve space on the trip. The ski trip is planned for Feb. 8 – 12, and the price includes travel, lodging and ski lift tickets. Contact Cathy soon to sign up.
