Millpond Social Event

Per usual practice, there will be no regular club meeting on the morning of August 31st because it is a "fifth Wednesday."  But we'll be having an evening social event that day at the Millpond Recreation Area gazebo.  Potluck dinner and Bring Your Own Beverage (alcohol is permissible).  A potluck sign-up sheet has been started so that we end up with a decent variety of food.  (See Volunteer Sign-Up list in ClubRunner: https://admin.clubrunner.ca/2624/VolunteerTask/List?VolunteerSignUpId=63d9f6a5-1d17-43c3-982c-e900b26b8b41.)  There will be some fun games to boot!  There is no structure to the event, but people can generally plan on arriving sometime between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. for socializing, with dinner starting around 6:00 p.m.  Rotarians are of course welcome to bring family and friends.  Registration isn't strictly necessary but would help develop a headcount for those bringing food.  Should be fun!  Pray for good weather.
