Tree Planting--All Area J Clubs

Arbor Day & District 5050/Area J's Tree Planting - TOMORROW - 9am 

Area J Clubs' Tree Planting Project!  Members from our Club will be joined by Rotarians from the Lake Stevens, Marysville, Marysville Sunrise and Stanwood-Camano Clubs to plant trees, socialize and enjoy Ryan's famous 'Dicks' burgers for lunch.  R.I. President, Ian Risely, has asked every Rotarian World-Wide plant a tree during his presidential year.

Jason Anderson, from the Stillaguamish Tribe, will inform and instruct us on the Riparian Restoration Project happening on the south fork of the Stillaguamish River at the end of the Moran Road.

From I-5: Take Exit 108, proceed east on Hwy 530. Turn right on Hwy 9. Turn let on Highland Drive and proceed on to Tveit Road. Turn left on Moran Road and follow the twists and turns to the bottom of the hill. Access the property at the end of the country road by turning left onto the gravel drive. We will have scouts to help direct parking. We recommend carpooling from the city lot.

Please wear weather appropriate footwear and bring a shovel!
