A few years ago we dipped our shovel into the unused plot beside KB Woodwood Elementary assisting them get a small garden started and providing a small greenhouse with the help of a District Simplified Grant. We then decided to set a garden up beside Quibble Creek and invite the students to come and plant Corn another great success. Then we were approached by some neighborhood societies helping children and women at risk to help them get gardens started. Here is our latest investment in helping people help themselves. The Aboriginal Woman's Outreach part of Atira Society. Here our resident " Farmer " John Koropatnisky presents a check for $1500 from our Gaming income to Glenda Delorme and Heather Wooley. Also pictured are Nancy Clark and Susan Thomas who helped in the program.Image
