On tuesday April 5th.we had the pleasure of hearing from Lindsay Babineau,project coordinator for Agriculture in THe Classroom Foundation. The topic was
“working to bring BC’s Agriculture to our Students”
She presented a powerpoint showing the scope of the programs that they are completing with Schools .They are a Non Profit but have space in the Local Government Offices. Work extensively with many Produce marketing Boards and associations. “Move over Jamie Oliver” There were so many farms and farm groups providing good BC food to Students and they were welcomed into the schools. A truly eye opening presentation.
