On Sept 18th we had the pleasure of having Jas Singh tell us about his farm enterprise "God's Little Acre" Truly a project that meets the four way test.

Jas Singh set up his farm called God's Little Acre after renting the land from a local farmer for $1. He then planted the fields using donated farm equipment and seed potatoes from the local farming community and suppliers.Last year he gave 62,000 lbs. of potatoes to the Surrey
Foodbank.  This year they have added 12 varieties of vegetables.
Another plan for October is to get into the Pumpkin business and also create some community spirit. For the last 3 weekends in October they will have Pumpkins for sale and host Hayrides and other fun events culminating on October 27th with an old fashioned Family Barn Dance in their Barn on the farm.  PR Director Susan Thomas presented Jas with a token of our appreciation for taking time to visit us.
