Joined by members of White Rock Peninsula and Surrey Fraser Heights and Central City Provisional Club we hosted our District Governor and his wife Maureen at our October 8th.meeting.
A good attendance of 32 enjoyed the wisdom of our District Governor as he hit all the important points in being a Rotarian in his address.

He related how he first saw a Rotary project and wondered who are ROTARY through his experiences in ROTARY to his current position.
He explained the 5 avenues of service talked about post Polio help as we are " just this close" to dealing with the disease but now have to look at helping those that were afflicted by the disease and now suffer from the outcomes.

Maureen brought our Attention to District Conference to be held May 1st in Whistler Theme "PEAK EXPERIENCE"  Early registrations enjoy choice of rooms
