Presentation was by Philip who serves as a Seaforth Infantry Officer.  He talked about how to transition VETS when they come home.  He showed a very informative video. 'Contact! Unload'.

The 9 min video showed the Vets putting a play together regarding their experiences in the field. Also, how during sessions they find a new meaning in their lives by inspiring through their sharing to the public, and through planting seeds of hope.

Phil stressed the importance of feeling useful and being involved in the communities, finding a job and support after coming back from action in other places around the world is very important. Especially, for the youth who are seeking direction on how to make a career choice.

Phil also mentioned that the Canadians when being in the field abroad when not in combat, they live among the people, they learn about their needs, they get involved emotionally with the communities, re-building what was affected duribg combat; therefore, they have to also be prepared to have their lives affected making it hard to re-adjust when returning home.

The Vets are now getting the support, encouragement and most of all, the opportunity to deal with all these issues through the plays they are presenting to the public.  - Patty's words
