Dave Duckworth from Camp Jubilee

Present at meeting David Duckworth, General Mgr. of Camp Jubilee. Two Youth Leadership students Tyrell and Autumn, both were inspired by the experience.

Camp open from April to October, started by labour group in 1936. 45 Syrian students benefitted from the camp this past summer.

David has had a 12 yr relationshp with the Camp. The camp can hold 180 students plus staff. The camp is open to rent for adults as well.

This year the students were asked to comment on the Four Way Test. They had a full day of ‘finding Captain Rotary”

The last session is a water fight, when that occurs, just get out of the way!! Both Students were very happy to go and thanked Rotary.

As well as The Rotary Club of Port Moody, Coquitlam, PoCo, Mission and Burnaby Clubs participate, so the all the students are sponsored by Rotary.

Next year July 7 –13. Suggested that each Club decide about repeat campers, the teachers only pick the campers. July 9th Rotary will visit the Camp, if you wish to go, please let Ann know by June 2017.
