Jill will give us a presentation about JustServe, a community service initiative to help people who are looking for ways to volunteer in the community and give meaningful service by providing an online platform where people can find volunteer opportunities to assist those in need and enhance the quality of life in their community. 

JustServe.org is the website where organization's needs are posted and volunteers search for opportunities to volunteer.  

Jill grew up in Phoenix and graduated from Central high school. She attended BYU for a couple years and met her husband, Wayne Mortensen. They married and moved to San Diego Jill worked as a waitress while Wayne got his law degree. He practices Bankruptcy and tax law in Tucson.

Jill has been a busy homemaker raising have 5 children and has one grandbaby. Her 3 oldest sons are in college including one in flight school while her youngest child and daughter is a sophomore at Marana High School and is on the Nationally ranked dance team.

Besides the demands of family life, She has spent many years volunteering in schools, the community and serving in various capacities in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints including Youth leader president, activities leader, Relief Society President over 150 women overseeing their needs and activities, various committees and other leadership positions working closely with Bishops and other leaders. She has also started various small businesses out of her home including swim lessons, pre-school, summer camps and is currently doing Goldendoodle and labradoodle ENS / ESI & CoI health guaranteed responsible breeding.  She is currently enjoying her responsibilities as JustServe Specialist over the Marana area.  

She has traveled to many countries including Russia. She loves skiing black diamonds and has even done a backflip – on purpose! 

She loves people and has a genuine concern for those who are less fortunate and find themselves in difficult circumstances.
