Chris is the Motion & Controls Product Manager for an automation distributor, Clayton Controls. In that capacity he supports the sales team throughout CA and parts of NV in order to help them develop a solution architecture with our end users as well as machine builders & integrators. What that means in practical terms is that it might be a robot arm or it could be a linear actuator; it might be a servo motor or a control system. If it is thinking or moving then he's a part of proposing a solution. While a Mechanical Engineer by schooling his career has morphed into a path with some Controls and Electrical Engineering and some necessary IT work in order to adapt to the types of equipment deployed today. He takes a consultative approach as they develop a system solution – not just catalog sales as there is way too much info available at one’s fingertips which leads to info overload too; so he's here to help provide clarity and a path.
