Historic Downtown Los Angeles Tour on June 8, 2019

Change in Meeting Location - Due to an event taking place in the center of Pershing Square this Saturday, we are moving our meeting location to our “default” location at the extreme southwest corner of Pershing Square. This would be at the corner of Sixth and Olive. No other changes!

Historic Downtown Los Angeles Tour

Please consider joing your Rotarty colleagues for a guided historic tour of downtown LA followed by lunch at a local venue.

Registration: A sign-up sheet will be available at the club's lunch meeting on Wednesday, June 5th.

Time: The tour will begin at 10AM, so please try to arrive at Pershing Square Park by 9:30AM.

Parking: Parking is available at the Pershing Square Garage ($9.00 all day on weekends, $16 weekdays). Enter the garage from 6th Street or Olive Street. 

Metro:

• Red & Purple Lines to Pershing Square. Follow the signs to Pershing Square, which is across Hill Street from the subway entrance.
• Blue & Expo Lines to 7th/Metro Center. Pershing Square is a few blocks east and north of the station.

Important Information: 

• Tours run rain or shine unless cancelled by mutual agreement by 5:00 PM the day before the tour. 
• The tour is mainly an exterior walking tour on city streets and includes hills, uneven pavement, and steps.
• There are no rest stops and nowhere the tour sits down as a group. All guests should be able to stay on their feet for the duration of the tour.
• If a member of your party is in a wheelchair, please let us know in advance. 
• This tour is not recommended for children under seven.
• Strollers are not recommended.
• Pets are not allowed.
