These programs are designed not only for incoming club officers (PEs, secretaries, treasurers and Rotary Foundation chairs), but for all Rotarians interested in learning more about Rotary, service projects, public image, and more. They also provide an excellent opportunity to meet fellow Rotarians throughout the district and to learn what their clubs are doing. The cost per person is $12, however, if four or more members participate from your club, the per member cost will be $10.00.

This training will have breakout sessions for current and incoming club secretaries and treasurers, as well as a session near and dear to all Rotarians, everything you need to know regarding selling and serving alcohol at club fundraisers and events.  Deputy City Attorney Rodney Short has volunteered to discuss the insurance requirements for these functions, and we hope to have Arizona Department of Liquor Inspector Mike Sanchez to provide information regarding special event liquor licenses and the rules that must be followed to comply with the Department's rules & regulations.

This training is open to all Rotarians, but will be especially helpful for club members that are interested in taking on leadership responsibilities as club chairs and/or officers. I highly encourage you all to attend this assembly.  Here’s the District 5500 web page (https://www.rotaryd5500.org/) to register, the sooner, the better, so that we can get a reliable count of those wanting to participate in this training.
