You may have been thinking about it, but now it’s officially time to register for our club’s Rotary Foundation Auction – Saturday, December 4, 5:30 to 7pm at Mendenhall Auto’s Toyota showroom, 8602 Teal Street, or on ZOOM, for those unable to attend.
Steve Allwine has once again come through for our club – by clearing out his showroom earlier in the day to accommodate Rotarians, maybe a potential new Rotarian or two, family and friends who he and his committee hope will attend. There will be light hors d’oeuvres to munch on, beverages to drink, folks with whom you can socialize (if you choose to attend in person), and a wonderful selection of donated items. A complete catalog will be distributed to club members, but start thinking about the chance to enjoy vacation homes in Palm Springs and Hawaii, dinners—both delivered and in-home, Thyes Shaub’s jewelry, hand-crafted woodworks created by talented members, valuable artwork, yummy desserts, and much more.
Steve’s put together an incredible team to help make this first auction in two years a truly memorable event; one you won’t want to miss. While the entire event won’t be on ZOOM, the live auction will. For those who have attended Foundation or wine auctions in the past, you know what an incredible job Steve does as auctioneer; he’s said “yes” to a command performance as this year’s auctioneer, as well. Funds raised all go to Rotary's nonprofit arm, The Rotary Foundation, to fund Rotary's humanitarian projects around the world, and a portion comes back to our district for local grants. This is an easy way to satisfy your annual commitment to TRF of $100.

We want to have an accurate count to make sure we have enough food, beverages and items for our auction.
