The 3rd Annual Sun Run was a big success, thanks in no small part to our organizers, volunteers, sponsors, runners and other participants. We extend an extra special thank you to Greg Oakes for all his hard work in pulling the event together this year. The efforts of everyone involved helped raise funds that will benefit several organizations in our community. We hope to see you all again next year!

The Books for Kids program helps the disadvantaged child who has no money for the school book fair.  Without Books for Kids, they would sadly watch while all their classmates experience the joy of selecting and buying books.

RotarySmall_editedBOOKS FOR TANZANIA: The book project sent 65 tons of used school and college textbooks to the Mwenge University College of Education in Tanzania in July 2013. The books arrived two months later and were unloaded by hand because a forklift was not available. College level books went into the libraries of six colleges including two schools of nursing.
