Aquatic Airman - 1st Air Services to Lord Howe Island

You are cordially invited to a talk on The Aquatic Airman, following the formation and history of Trans Oceanic Airways, the first regular airline service to Lord Howe Island and the amazing adventures of founder Bryan Monkton, a unique Australian Aviator sadly overlooked in the Maritime Aviation History of Australia.

Trevor has been around Aviation most of his life as a Pilot and Founder of the Australian Aviation Museum, where for 22 years he was a Director and Curator.  He is the Australian Wing Leader of the US Based Commemorative Air Force, the worlds’ largest Private Air Force and a member of the Spitfire Association of Australia.

Trevor is a member of the Australian National Maritime Museum’s Speaker Bureau, which offers a wide range talks on any aspect of the Museum’s Maritime History Collection and Maritime History in general to interested Clubs and Associations.
