Rotarians must be youth protection certified before working with youth involved in Rotary-sponsored youth programs or events. This includes working with youth remotely via conferences calls, video conferencing, or other means of electronic communication as well as working with youth in person.

Every Rotarian must complete the Rotary District 5150's new online Youth Protection Certification process. Even if Rotarians have been fingerprinted, trained, and certified in the past, they must complete the new online process by July 30, 2020.
