ROTARY LUNCHEON: Homeless Prenatal Program

Representatives from Homeless Prenatal Program will speak to our club about the innovative ways this organization is giving back to homeless families in the area. They will highlight the new health clinic at HPP, which offers prenatal and postnatal care for moms, but also provides assistance with pregnancy prevention. 

Martha Ryan, the Founder and Executive Director of Homeless Prenatal Program, will give the presentation, along with Megan Lucas, a former client at HPP. As a recovering drug addict, Megan knows first-hand the types of services and successes that HPP provides. Megan spent several years taking care of herself and her son, Maxwell, prior to re-joining the workforce at HPP. Now, Megan is a newly-licensed attorney, currently working at the San Francisco Public Defender’s Office as a Paralegal on the Felony Unit. 

Our Club has provided diaper bags and supplies to expecting mothers for quarterly baby showers at HPP. We hope to continue this project in the 2018-19 Rotary year.

This is a weekly membership meeting for The Rotary Club of San Francisco, open to all Rotarians, visiting Rotarians, prospective members, and guests.

Each luncheon ticket includes a three-course lunch. Tickets for Club members are $35 each; $30 if you register online in advance. Non-member tickets are $40 each. Payment by credit card or check is preferred. Tickets available for purchase only at the door.
