Your children are the future. If you change your parenting, you can change the world. Esther Wojcicki, founder and CEO of GlobalMoonshots.org and an internationally known educator, will share her approach on how to raise successful children.

Her approach is based on ideas including letting your children discover their own passions; moving on from past parenting mistakes; building rock-solid foundations for lifelong relationship; being brave enough to give your children freedom; working with your children, not against them; and setting healthy relationships with technology.

Esther is the founder of the largest scholastic media program in the United States at Palo Alto High School. Her accolades include:

  • 2002 California Teacher of the Year
  • 2009 MacArthur Foundation Research Fellow
  • 2011 Columbia University Charles O’Malley Award.

Esther is the former Chair of Creative Commons and of PBS Learning Matters. She currently serves on the boards of the Freedom Forum, the Newseum, and the Alliance for Excellent Education. She advises multiple ed tech start-ups including EdSurge. She founded the Journalistic Learning Initiative at the University of Oregon and holds three honorary doctorates. She is the author of Moonshots in Education (2014) and How to Raise Successful People (May 2019).
