Louise Shaheen died peacefully at home on May 15, 2022. She was born on October 12, 1928 and was welcomed into the family grocery business where she worked alongside her father and brothers. Louise met and married Michael Shaheen in 1949 in Flint where they enjoyed raising their five children until their Silver Anniversary when Michael passed away suddenly.
Louise is survived by her five children, Ralph Shaheen (Denise), James Shaheen (Diane), Carol Shaheen (Clay Nelson), Dan Shaheen (Maureen), and Patricia Shaheen. Services were held Friday, May 20 at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in East Lansing. Please consider donations to St. Joseph Melkite Church or the Greater Lansing Food Bank.
