GOOD NEWS!

The 2019 French Wine Tasting & Food Pairing

earned $10 289.71 after expenses of $11 486.37.

• Net raffle earnings of $2361.08 from the sale of 350 raffle tickets must be spent on local projects, as decreed by the rules of the Alcohol & Gaming Commission of Ontario, as they relate to raffles.
• The remaining $7928.63, of which $6235 was earned through the silent and live auctions may be used to do good both locally and internationally, as the club sees fit.
• 128 guests (16 tables of 8) paid $85 per person that covered the cost of wine, food and entertainment as projected.
• 8 sponsorships of $250 + a donation of $300, paid the remaining expenses and provided profit for the event.

1. Reduce the number of tickets to 120 (15 tables of 8).
2. Reduce the number of courses from 7 to 6 including dessert.
3. Keep the ticket price at $85 per person.
4. Set up a reserve list at the June 6^th and 20^th,  2019 breakfast meetings, allowing members to indicate how many tickets they will need. Doug will use as a guide to distribute tickets, when they are available the beginning of February.
