What you need to know about Immigration - Meeting is at Andrew's Restaurant 2610 Dempster St,

 

Judy is a  first generation immigrant from Mexico having arrived in Chicago at the age of 7. She has lived in Northern Illinois ever since.Graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University,  taught music in public schools, director of a Second Stage Housing program for homeless women, single moms, single dads and families, and recently retired from Administrative Assistant to the Director of Congregational Development of the Northern Illinois Conference of the United Methodist Church.

As a volunteer she has been involved in many levels of United Methodist Women, PTA, World Federation of Methodist and Uniting Church Women and just recently became the Chairperson of Northern Illinois Justice for Our Neighbors (NIJFON). 

 

Judy enjoys making music with her family as well as attending concerts, opera. She has played in string quartets and orchestras. Is married to Rev. Fernando Siaba and keeps young by staying involved with 4 grandchildren ages 6 - 10, three daughters and one son-in-law.
