LZ Rotary Goes to the Dogs: Green Pup Shelter to Visit FridayAnne Donnell's pup, Bella, pictured above, was adopted from Green Pup Shelter. The founder of Green Pup will be speaking at our meeting Friday and bringing Bella and other dogs to show us.
The shelter is called Green Pup because their motto is "Adopt a Recycled Dog." Founded just over two years ago, it is staffed by all volunteers and relies on foster homes to socialize the dogs while they wait for their new homes.
Green Pup was a recent winner of the Trib Local Charity of Choice award. It is a non-profit no-kill dog rescue.
