Huntley Rotary joined in the fun at the Rockin' Rotary Ribfest this year to sell roasted corn and raise money for local charity. The best ribs in the Midwest were featured during this four-day festival located at Sunset Park in Lake in the Hills. Live bands and great food made for a spectacular weekend of fun. Thanks to all who came out to support local Rotary clubs and Rotary International.
The Huntley Rotary Club is partnering with School District 158 as part of their entrepreneurial class for students in high school. The first presentation to the class focused on Rotary International, and how Rotary and service organizations make a difference in their community. Club members Kevin Vaughn and Jim Uszler presented information to the students, and will continue to work in concert with Mrs. Eibl, Teacher and Advisor to the Future Business Leaders of America group.
Rotary District Governor Sarah Oliver visited the Huntley Rotary Club on Tuesday, April 29 to present three awards to the club, which earned distinction within Rotary District 6440.
