A Note of Interest: In this week's issue of Highland Park Landmark, on page 4, is an article about one of our TABU Alum. Azza Cohen has been awarded the George J. Mitchell Scholarship. She will be spending a year at National University in Galway, Ireland to study culture and colonization. TABU was her stepping stone. Please check out her story.
Cynthia announced that the Club will hold its monthly board meeting next Monday, February 15 immediately following the regular meeting. She also announced that next week’s speaker will be none other than Scott Drury, our Illinois state representative for the 58th district.
For the February 15th meeting, in honor of President's Day, and to support Happy Dollars, members are asked to bring in pennies (President Lincolns) that you might have around your home. Jars welcome! If your lacking the copper Lincolns, the paper ones work just fine!
