President Cynthia Plouché opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance and leading the Club in singing "God Bless America".

Fred Orkin announced they conducted the last Financial Literacy session at HPHS. He mentioned Diana Sotelo was there to help and it was a great close to another very successful series of programs. There was a very collaborative effort with the teachers.

Cynthia Plouché read two of the many thank you notes from Nuestro Center students who received coats from the warm coat program.

She also reminded the Club the there will be NO LUNCH MEETING NEXT WEEK since we will be having our Holiday party starting at 6 p.m. at the country club.

Also reminding the Club, a big change coming: FOR THE MONTH OF JANUARY - MEETINGS WILL NOT BE HELD ON MONDAYS - INSTEAD THEY WILL BE ON TUESDAYS!

Well wishes to Joanne Gordon for a speedy recovery!

Karen Dennis reminded the Club that January 7th we will be participating in the dinner at St. James Church. We are going to need 15-20 volunteers to help deliver the food, set up and serve.

She also wanted to remind the Club about the upcoming MYA Holiday concert. See the poster below:

The Day's Program
Writer and comedian, Aaron Freeman, spent a lively time with the Club blending scientific research and behavioral science in discussing current issues. It was certainly edgy, thought provoking and humorous.

Many thanks to Cynthia Plouché and Larry Block for her help with this week's bulletin!
