As you know, we have lost a dear friend and dedicated fellow BG Rotarian, Dennis Gilbert. Dennis was very active in our club, making sure to sell Roto tickets every week, scheduling the speakers for our meetings, organizing the BG Days parade every year, and acting as our social chair for our holiday parties, sporting events, etc. Dennis, with his ever-cheerful personality and his energy and enthusiasm for Rotary, will be missed by all of us.
His funeral service will be on Sunday, Nov. 19, 2017 at 12:15pm at Shalom Memorial Park, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights.
Shiva (visitation) will be held at Barrie Shinsky’s house (Dennis’ daughter) immediately following the funeral on Sunday, and again on Monday Nov. 20 from 6:00pm-9:00pm. The address is 3904 Keiss, Glenview, IL.
We are sending a food tray on behalf of the Club for the Shiva. The family of Dennis Gilbert has designated The Buffalo Grove Rotary Club Foundation as a recipient for memorial donations. Information on how to make a donation is on our website. bgrotary.org
