LighthousePalooza - Picnic and Band at Fran Caan's

If you’ve missed picnicking on the lawn during Ravinia concerts this summer, we have an outstanding alternative – “Evanston LighthousePalooza” on Wednesday, August 26, at 5:30 p.m. at Fran Caan’s lovely backyard, the location of many club picnics.  What’s different this year is that it will be “Ravinia Style” including a band.  Not just any band, but Los Perros Cubanos, led by Roger Sosa, the Executive Director of the Evanston Chamber of Commerce.  He spoke at a club meeting a couple of months ago.

Fellowship and picnic at 5:30 with the band from 6:30-8:30. “Ravinia Style” means that you need to bring your chair(s), ground cloth, dinner and beverage.  Each social pod (2-4) people will have its own space on the lawn – everyone will be physically distanced, masks, etc.

Parking is available on the street, but a parking permit is needed until 6:00 p.m.  Fran will have one for each vehicle.  You will find the supply near the front door.
